Our oceanfront accommodations are nestled under the foothills of the Long Range Mountains on the south shore of the Bay of Islands in Western Newfoundland. You’ll find us on Route 450, also known as Captain Cook’s Trail.

Let the ocean air fill your lungs as you take in the landscape and wide-open ocean from your cottage. Your view of the outer archipelago of the Bay of Islands is sprinkled with islands which were charted by explorer and cartographer Captain James Cook in 1767. To the west is the dome shaped Lark Harbour Head. To the east are the time-worn Blow Me Down Mountains. In the quiet, you’ll hear sea birds calling and local fisherman going about their days.

Take a trip on the Bay in an authentic "Lark Harbour Dory". For over 50 years this small craft with its distinctive orange and green paint has been the main transportation for many fishers in the Bay of Islands.
